A damp start bur soon brightened up with sun for rest of the day and quite warm.
Started on second pool with a team of buzzers fished close to opposite banking in far corner.Soon had a rainbow of 3lb in the net and another two followed fairly quickly ,both around 3.5lb.Moved to side bank and moved along casting and moving etc and had quite a few hits but no hookups, all on a Jack Frost fished slowly tight to margins.
Moved around the fishery without any more looks so had a spot of lunch and resumed in the same general area as before.Finished with nine rainbows all on either buzzers or the Jack frost and all close in.
At £20 kill 1st and then c/r its pretty good value. Not a wonderfully scenic venue and a tad small but can usually bag a few fish. Not the sort of place that i would want to fish week in week out, only ever have around three/four trips there per year and it can get busy even midweek. All in all ,a pleasant day
