Default Middleton Fishery - Closing??

It seems that the rumourmungers have been at it again and according to a few phone calls to the fishery we are closing for good at the end of March. This is the sort of nonsense I have been dealing with all year and finding it really hard to understand. I worked my ass of up there with a few others to keep the place open through horendous weed and algae growth and all for what. Some anglers have been great but others are intent on ruining the good name of the fishery at every opportunity. Even worse is I don't make any money from bursting myself trying to keep fickle anglers happy. I have to admit that I am on the very edge of having had enough. The fishery is shutting for a period of routine maintenace at the end of March as it was this year.

Hi Paul & Gary

I for one , would have to say you have one of the best fisheries around with some of the most helpfull staff I have come across.
I would be a crying shame if you ever let the rumour starters and the people who feed off them , ever get to you that much that you even consider throwing in the towel and " calling it a day " at Middleton.

I hope you can just ignore them and continue offering quality fishing at good prices , with great surroundings and friendly service as ever .

I have not had much time to visit Middleton . this season , but I am looking forward to my next visit which should be early in November , weather permitting

Hope to see you then.

Cheers,

Duncan
