Good day !
Spent the day in a boat in the first bay past the sailing club.
Fish were hard up to the bank with bank anglers that could cast in to the strong wind having a good catch. I landed 8 fish all rainbow stockies lost 2 snapped by one.
Bank anglers also had a good day in front of the lodge along the dam and boat jetty as the wind was behind them.
I used floating line 10 leader one dropper all fish bar one on point fly bar one, point flys were olive conehead zonker untill snapped then two on lime greed conehead zonker, one caught on pink maribou dropper.

great morning fishing , bit windy but sheltered by the dam wall and water levels alittle low so gave good cover from the wind, had 7 rainbows between 2lb-4lb most on black green tadpole on intermediate line, but tried a buzzer around midday and had one more. everyone along the bank and the boat next to the cages were catching,

The latest I have heard is that the rod average is an amazing 11. Fish close into the bank and around the fish cage infront of the lodge. Worth a visit if you want some sport.

I was there yesterday off the bank in front of the lodge, i could not get the depth of the fish correct. Two chaps to my right neat the boat pontoon were catching and a chap 60 m to my left caught 4 up to 4 lb .
I caught one on a bright green conehead .

been this morning and fished by the yatch club, had 13 rainbows best being 6lb ,rest between 2-4lb. everyone around me catching on various tactics, i used green and black last weekend and caught, this time not even a touch so put a white lure on a intermediate with steady retrieve and had cracking morning.
