Can this be true, an 8.7 rod average? anybody fish last weekend?

Talked to a mate who went at the weekend and 1 well known angler had 79 before 11am then had an emergency appointment to attend My mate got in the same peg and took 40 and left at 2pm.

I put a fly in my boat partners cheek at Grafham, the boys there know how to get them out.

No, i was there Sunday morning. Heard it from several people (not that it was the talk of the lake or anything), so it's either true, or the same rumour going round and round.

Where he was, the wind was right for that kind of accident too.

The rod average will be right at 8.7, lots of fish being caught. Nearer the dam the better though they seem a little on the small size for Elinor. I had some there then went up the other end, less fish there, but much better quality.

I looked at some catch returns before leaving, and most people had between 6 and 10.
