We fished our annual Moscrop Shield Bank Match on Farmoor II yesterday (Mon 17 Oct)
A total of 15 Anglers fished from 10.00 till 17.30 in a strong Southerly wind. The temperature was around 14 Degs C and the water crystal clear and fairly well up.
A total of 113 Rainbows were taken, for a total bagweight of 259 Lbs.
Heaviest fish was a 5lb R/Bow in excellant condition.
Rod Average was 7.53.
Average weight per fish worked out as just under 2lb 5 oz, absolutely cracking average I am sure you will agree.
With anglers travelling from as far afield as Scotland, West Wales and Cornwall, we were delighted to see such good fishing and such quality hard fighting fish, so a very big THANKYOU to Matt and his outstanding staff for making us so very welcome, and for the excellant work they do in providing fishing of the highest class.
I look forward to The Christmas Match on 10 Dec!!
