It's a very odd place, that is.

I fished it once and only caught a Chub all day...only one other person there and although the banks were well maintained it sort of felt like no one ever went there.

Sorry, not much help on tactics.

I fished it several times early last year. John Barnes, the owner was very helpful on appropriate tactics for the day - I reckon he's the man to ask!

Not fished there myself but if you are in that area then you are not very far aways from Lechlade/Bushleaze, Watermark and Farmoor. These are all good fisheries - plenty of info on each on this forum and the web.

There is also some river fishing to be had on the Coln and Windrush.

But as I have not fished there and no little about it I can't comment further.. may be a nice fishery. Whats the charge?
