Default Bushyleaze

Anybody fished Bushy in the last week or two? How is it fishing? Wanted to go to Farmoor but don't fancy chucking a fast sinker as far as I can with a booby all day

Fished Bushey last Tuesday..got my six fish on a bloodworm but it was steady rather than spectacular. Conditions were totally different to now..Very bright, very still and warm.

Received wisdom is that overall it's fishing well.

Hi - fished there the Wednesday before last and had a great day! It was cold but bright and I had my 6 fish in 2-3 hours. A few on PTNs and Damsel Nymphs plus one on the top on a klink during a very brief rise! It looked like almost everyone was getting their limit.

Fished there on Sunday

It was very busy and it was tough to find any water that has not been thrashed to death (the thrashing brigade were out in force!)

I am always amazed how some anglers just stick to one spot and never move even if it is unproductive.

Took one on a comorant booby early on and two more on a goldhead damsel later in the day. The fish were full on small water snails.

Two of the fish had stubs for fins (too crowded in the stock pools maybe??) and the tails were nothing to write home about....are standards dropping at Bushy or was this just a one off...? I hope the later.

Not a bad day though just a shame it was so busy.
