Default Farmoor Reports & Info.

I know a few people have commented on sticking to one thread for reports and info for Farmoor, so I thought I would start one with an appropriate title.

Had 5 today on a black booby right on the bottom. All the fish were taken right at the beginning of the retrieve so were quite a way out.

Levels are nearly back to normal which makes life a lot easier.

Still fishing really well for the time of year and have heard that a few fish have been taken on buzzers!

Had 3 today. Again all on a small black booby although they were taken at different levels so fish are starting to move around. Water levels are now back to normal which makes fishing a lot easier.

Would be good to see a few more reports from people who have fished here!

Don't forget the spring pairs match on the 9th of March. Should be a good day!

FS.

Fished farmoor on the 2nd of march, only spent 3 hours on the bank, fished on the bottom with boobies, caught nothing. I had a look in the log book, not a lot of trout being caught, A lot of water was let in a couple of weeks back and its put the fish off quite a bit, i'm sure it will get better soon.

Tim

Easiest way from either direction is A34 (joins M4 & M40), off at Botley (middle junction for Oxford), on to A420 towards Swindon for 1/2 mile then off left and turn right. Keep going until hit a small round about with small service station, turn left and another 1/4 mile and you can't miss it (on right).

I'm off their tomorrow, first time. I drive past it to work everyday so thought it was about time to take a deep breath and give it a bash. Its feels a little daunting for a relative newbie.
