First trip of the year to Rib today and it fished surprisingly well given a hard frost and blazing sunshine. Had 6 and lost 4, all in the top 3 ft astonishingly, mainly on orange or black blobs on a midge tip.

Most people caught a few and overall it was the best it has fished for a little while.
