Glencorse RSV will be open for business in 2012. Previously known as Dooks Fishery the new name will be known as it did a few years ago Glencorse RSV. We are hoping to be open around April 2012 and will have in the region of 10 boats.

Glencorse is a beautiful water, quite big though and fish can be hard to find! but thats fishing, fishes well with traditional flies and the kate mclaren is a personal favourite, behind the island and down the road shore are always worth a try and if the wind allows it a drift close in down the far bank can be superb fishing.

What are you going to be stocking it with ? hopefully you wont go down the big fish route! some cracking fish in the water and the natural brownies are crackers, it does get poached along the road shore though by polish guys so worth keeping an eye on that!

Any bank fishing going to be offered ? dont think the banks been offered before but there are a few bits that would be good.

Anyway, good luck with it and i will defo be up to fish it next year

There will unlikely be bank fishing, so if anyone is seen "polish" or not, during the day or night ! will be dealt with accordingly by the police ETC ETC. As far as the stocking goes, there will be a good spread in size. It will be stocked with quality browns, rainbows, blues. Hope this helps.

Are u taking over clubbiedean as well as glencourse? i know dooks used to run both. If ur not do u know if anyone is?

No we are not taking clubbidean over, to the best of my knowledge a couple of lads from Edinburgh have taking this on.
