Default Farmoor

Fished Farmoor today and battled the cold and wind all day! Caught one and lost one although this doesn't really reflect how well it is fishing at the moment (probably due to the cold and wind today!) because it is fishing very well for the time of year especially the boats. Only two weeks ago I had my full 8 limit and the rod average yesterday was 2.9. I really would recommend taking a trip to Farmoor at the moment as it is a great fishery and the staff are very helpful. The water levels are also slowly rising making fishing a bit easier as well.

Hi Farmer,

Many thanks for your post. As I am from NE Scotland I only fish Farmoor when I visit the daughter in Oxford which is about once a year. I do like the place but I do struggle with it. Pls keep posting updates.

Ta.
