Straid fishery in Northern Ireland is back with a bang.

The algae bloom is now TOTALLY gone and the weed is dying back and what a difference it has made to the fishing. Its unreal.

Was there today and had loads of fish on dries. Never seen so many fish rising at once. They were so agressive in taking the adult buzzer that was on the water, that they were scaring the swans.

You have to pay straid a visit. Superb

Yes Gregg the water temperature is 8 degrees lower than 5 weeks ago and the fish are looking to feed. The lake has been stocked with a load of 4lb fish and 12 newly tagged articles worth up to £100.

This was my regular spot to fish when I lived in NI.

Good tosee it back in action again. Will be hitting it up with my pops when i'm back in the mother land next.
