Went out for a few hours on burnhouse lochan today,overcast/windy,but mild.
on my 1st cast i hooked a fish only to lose it then another hour with nothing .moved round to the upwind side as i'd had enough of casting into the wind
2nd cast i had another on but lost it then missed 3
i was retrieving v-v-slow and the line at the end of the rod would just rise ,but when i lifted /pulled there was nothing there.dam dam dam.
i eventually lifted and a nice fish was on the end.played it and when i landed it i thought thats enough of a dooing for 1 day and packed up.
