Am the Secretary of the Upper Avon Angling Association who look after Glengavel Reservoir & would like to keep those who are interested up to date with the activities of our organisation & the fishing at Glengavel.
Will need to learn how to up to upload photos on this forum but here is my first attempt - please see link to our website Upper Avon Angling Association | Fishing in Scotland - we are unique on the Clyde System that we operate our own hatchery (we strip local Brown Trout) & rearing ponds - the aim is to stock only with indigenous Trout - please see link to page on our Rearing Ponds & Hatchery Rearing Ponds & Hatchery | Upper Avon Angling Association (we will when the funds permit & there is a requirement to stock & we don't have the fish in our ponds introduce some bought in "Triploid Brownies") all the fish we stock into the Avon Water are "indigenous".
