Default Rescobie reports

Hi folks, was wondering if anybody could tell me how rescobie is fishing and what flies are best going there early september for a couple of days.

Rescobie is the local loch to the shop so lads pop in here most days..

The last couple of days have seen the cooler winds put fish down, prior to that the fish were taking dries (and still will if the wind settles!)

Try CDC, shipmans and crippled midge if conditions suit. Alternatively green holo d bach is always good along with damsels and FABS..

PS Use at least 10lb fluro

Thanks neil, good 2 know, was there 1 day for the last 2 months and had great time, fishing hard but got a 9lb brown that took me down to my backing and next trip had a 5lb brown, both fought for ages and you are right you need strong fluro up there.

Was up at rescobie yesterday, plenty fish being caught.One lad weighed in a fish at 13lb's .
Going by the fish we caught i reckon the average size of fish being caught was around 2 1/2 - 3lbs
