Hi my daughter and family live near here and I am wondering if anyone can recommend a fishery nearby at around North East prices i.e. £20 per day for 3 or 4 fish I am willing to travel upto 1 hr from thier home and if this place as an added bonus allows my wife to bring our 5yr old grandson with her that would be extra nice as from our home to pompey is 5 hrs drive each way . Check out the non fishing visitors bit with them first. Most fisheries have Health and Safety issues with young children. But it may be worth a go!

Meon Springs is worth a look. I have only been once, it was busy but it was good weather and a Saturday. The fishing is a bit easy if you are proficient but there is enough going on to keep the youngster happy.
