WEST HOUSE FISHING REPORT 16/8/11

News. : Tagged fish weekend at West House on Saturday and Sunday 3rd + 4th September
The lakes are stocked with 25 tagged fish. Catch a tagged fish to win prizes including Whiskey, Day tickets, Tackle etc. Free barbecue, hot and cold drinks etc.

General : Plenty of rain has cooled the water temperature and freshened up th lakes resulting in some excellent fishing

Best Catch: John Richards of Northallerton caught 8 fish including a Rainbow of 12lb caught on an orange buzzer.

Nigel Worthington of Thirsk landed a Brown trout of 7lb

Jonathon Smedley of Durham caught 16 fish on dry flies his best a Rainbow of 10pm

Flies to use: Zonkers, Olive CDC, Shipmans Buzzers, Black buzzers, Cats whiskers
