Default Re: Walthamstow Trout Fisher- Curfew over Out at 7.

Me too .rather peeved as had a late pass for the evening rise ,
Only solid hook up was at 6.25 ,so felt cheated on what could have been a good evening.
Not very well informed ,no visible mention in the payment area ,only noticed the sign as was walking up to the ressers after having paid..

Vinnie what do you think they were taking ,mine came to a Blagdon green seal fur job #14.

Thumbs up Re: Walthamstow Trout Fisher- Curfew over

Yeah, spoke to a few people who had turned up through the week for an evenings fishing, bad if you payed for a ticket and you miss maybe the best couple of hours.

I got there for 4:30 and had 3 in about an hour on the railway bank. Saw a few moving, fished a washing line with dial bachs and black and green size 10 booby on the point. Two went for the booby and one took the DB. Had a couple of swirls as well that I missed.

Moved around after that, but think I should have stayed.

Was hoping to see a petrol bomd might have landed on the cormroant island!

yes we met on the bank fairly near the Hut , have been thinking of a way to get a team of grey squirrels over onto the island during nesting season .
I too was on a form of washing line ,muddled green peter on the point with a green emerger type spider middle and a soldier palmer top dropper
