Default Blithfield Report - 13/8/11

When conditions become favourable the fish are moving well on top to dries. Yesterday saw a warm cloudy day with trout moving all day long and through to dark. Most fish are concentrated at the limit of sailing to the road bridge. Many limit bags were taken with the best patterns being claret or fiery brown shipmans or red bits or klinkhammers. A few hours yesterday saw 11 trout boated with the best being an overwintered full tailed blue of 3.5lb. Large red and medium sized buzzers are hatching and the fish are feasting on them. Pick your day well and you will find moving fish. If anyone requires further information or a day afloat please send me a PM.

Can fully support everything everything "flyfisher99" has posted, was also there last night.

Fished from 4;30 to 8;30 and had 8 fish all over 2 1/2lb all fish fully finned and in excellent condition. Red "Bobs Bits" did the damage for me.

As the water clarity improves so does the fishing, caught well Friday and today Saturday, 16 to the boat both days. Not much going on in the North Lake.
