Default Press Manor or Barlow

After talking to my friend we are planning on going to either Press Manor or Barlow or Alton Manor Farm for the first time so does anyone know how these are fishing at the minute?

just spoken to Bernie at press, fishing well to bloodworm and small buzzers, and floating lines with damsels fished very slowly, bank fishing has been good so well worth a trip!

Barlow was fishing well over the Christmas period, but went off the boil towards the end of the week, probably due to a combination of the milder spell ending and the fish being spooked by the large number of anglers who seemed to be there on each of the four occassions I went. They might have recovered by now though. The fish were loving the flexi-floss bloodworms fished slow with the odd sharp tug thrown in. Gold Ribbed Hare's Ear were also accounting for their fair share, also retrieved at a snails pace. Hope this helps.

I fished Press a couple of weeks ago and had some good sport on the bloodworm, fished really slow. We have fished Barlow a few of times recently and had some good days too but it has been a little slow the last couple of visits. I've had most of my fish on Viva's with a couple on the bloodworm when sport was slow. The breakfast down at the cafe has been welcome too on a cold winters morning
