Default Has anyone been fishing Press Manor lately?

Just wondering if anyone has been fishing Press Manor (or Alton Manor Farm at Wirksworth) during the recent cold spell?

Is it worth going at the moment?
If so has anyone got any tips?

Cheers
Mat

I was at Press on Saturday. Started fishing at 9.30 ish. Very hard work indeed . I tried everything - sinking lines, floating lines, damsels, cat's whisker, blood worm, humungus, blob, GRPT. Didn't get a single bite until very late in the day when I managed to get a line out quickly to a boil I spotted. Luckily my one bite stuck and I was able to avoid a blank (but I did blank there 2 weeks previously). It fell to a black and red buzzer size 16 about 3 feet down. Everyone else was reporting that nothing was biting for them either. Think I'm gonna wait for a mild spell before I go back there.
