Fished Watermark yesterday - only one there - 6.5 acres all to myself
Took a 7.5 Ib rainbow on bloodworm plus a 5lb rainbow (bloodworm) and a couple of 2lb rainbows (buzzer). Cracking days fishing.

Only downside is that it is now 'catch and clout' only due to poor fish handling by some 'eejuts'.

Have a freezer full of trout fillets just before Christmas - not ideal...

i found out about that a few weeks ago and didnt realy think it was a good idea as i and my m8s always use to put them back proper

The Only Reason we have been fishing there latley was that we had 25% off and it was Catch and release

That's a bit unfair - it is actually a good fishery with a nice size deep lake. The fish are also of a fairly good quallity and size. At the end of the day a lot of fisheries won't do catch and release for this very reason so you can't blame them. I was supprised they did it in the first place.

The only other C&R I know of in the area is Bransford in Worcestershire but this is a lot smaller and only in the small lake.

Next season it will be Watermark, Bushyleaze, Farmoor, Bransford and the river Colne in Farirford for me (not in that order!)
