Default Sharpley Waters

Has anybody fished here before? Any ideas on patterns etc? I'm going to give it a try tomorrow.
Cheers Chris

I have fished Sharpley quite a few times and it is pretty open to the elements, tomorrow is forecast fairly strong winds by lunchtime ,20mph.

Patterns to use according to the latest report are, bloodworm, cats whisker, dark nymphs, black buzzers and lures in white. Small black dries have accounted for a few fish so as you can imagine varied patterns are on the menu.

There is also a tagged fish sweep which can run into £100s so it is worth sporting a £1 to enter, who knows, you may be lucky enough to get some xmas spending money.

Best of luck mate and lots of tight lines.

I may give Sharpley a bash when the wind drops off, who knows, a £1 stake may be well worth a try when the pot is so big.
