Charliea1234 is on a distinguished road
Default Rib Valley 25/11

Rib is still quite coloured and so a bit harder than usual for this time of year when it normally fishes really well. Nymphs are a waste of time as the fish simply cannot find them, so it is lures at various depths with white/green being best.

Today the fish were pretty deep and I found a Di7 retrieved slowly to be the only method that produced bites consistently. I landed 3, lost another 4 and must have had 10-20 other tugs and tweaks that were unhittable, so plenty to keep the interest.

Hopefully, more cold nights and the water will clear so we can give the bloodowrm and bung method a go.

Charlie
