Going to be fishing here on Friday for the first time. Can anyone tell me what's been catching and what areas are good?

The Scottish National Semi is at Carron this week, so there might not be too much info going about, lots of guys will be out practising etc, there is also another semi there next Monday so might be difficult to get info on what exact areas are fishing etc.

If you do find out whats catching, let me know, im there next tuesday... last time out it was buzzers washingline style that did it for me... pretty close to the bank... if you can nearly see the bottom you wont be far away... tight lines!

Hopefully I'll have a decent days fishing and looking forward to it. Have a good weekend at the neuk rankin I just love that fishery!

Myself & heppy, fished Carron valley yesterday. Black & green seems to be the best colour combo. Not alot of surface action, fish were hard to come by. The fish seemed to be holding in the jetty area.
