Thumbs up "only one double per bag"

FROM SUNDAY 19TH JUNE 2011 ALL KEEP FISH TICKETS, ANGLERS ARE ALLOWED TO KEEP "ONLY" ONE DOUBLE FIGURED FISH IN THEIR BAG LIMIT. DUE TO THE GREED OF A FEW ANGLERS . ie ONE ANGLER THIS WEEK HAD NEARLY 50LBS IN 4 FISH.!!!! WE HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO INTRODUCE THIS POLICY. IF ANY ANGLER TAKES MORE THAN ONE DOUBLE FIGURED FISH HE WILL BE CHARGED AT £3.50lb. WE WANT ALL OUR ANGLERS TO ENJOY AND HAVE THE OPPOURTUNITY OF CATCHING A DOUBLE FIGURED FISH. AND IS NOT ONLY FOR THE GREEDY FEW. "NO SELECTING FISH". BILL TAYLOR

i fail to see where it is GREED , if you previously had no rule in place regarding how many double figure fish you were allowing on a KEEP FISH ticket.
should you not have always had 1 double per angler rule in place from the start ?.

No your right we should have introduced this policy years ago, but firstly, the chance of getting three doubles is fairly slim but not impossible, but when you have a no selecting fish policy !!! Whats your thoughts on that ! Dont think so

Tweeddale millennium east lothian scotland, and we are no shouting my friend, the other lad is right, I should have introduced this policy years ago, but I sure that there are not to many anglers out there had 3 doubles in the first 4 fish ? unless its a venue with a specific size ie nothing under 10lbs and if thats the case im sure they will pay more than £26 for 8 hours 4 fish and c/r.

If it is your place, you make the rules. If anglers dont like the rules they will go else where.

"ONE ANGLER THIS WEEK HAD NEARLY 50LBS IN 4 FISH.!!!!"

Is this a marketing ploy? Use a statment like that to your advantage.

Your spot on, however the thought of 50lbs of slob sliding around in a poly "bag for life" turns me all faint.

a post made in capital letters on the internet is termed as shouting .

i have never fished your fishery , i just thought it was a bit unfair calling those who catch and keep fish as greedy if the rule was not in place to start with.
i have no doubt my brother has wet a line on your fishery though as he lives in Livingston.
