Mmmm. What fishery website doesn't tell you where it is!

Higham was pretty much unfishable today due to the wind and coloured water but managed to get two with one lost and one snapped.

Higham is basically on two levels. The top level has two very man made holes in the ground that are more in the fashion of a coarse fishery than a fly venue but the bottom level has a well established tree lined lake which probably has a bit to much weed in but is shallow enough for the fish to still be feeding near the surface.

The top two lakes (one fly only, the other mixed) are about 30' deep and that is where the fish were for the day, at the bottom, not feeding!!
