Default colwick park

fished colwick park lake yesterday, 6th nov. water is nice and clear now, after an algal bloom, price for a day ticket is down to £9.50 for six fish, great value
if you can catch six at this time of the year, but still great if you cant.I must confess though we fished hard on a cold but bright day [bit to bright] we caught three nice conditioned rainbows, they seem to want black and green at the moment. I had two, one on a black and green tadpole bead chain eyes
and one on a montana standard dressing, son had his on black and green taddie, Enjoyed the day off the water 3.30pm
Regards drifter

Hello HWD

Good stuff, keep it up, although I bet the season finishes soon. I've been told theres larger fish being stocked at Colwick lately, can you confirm this.
