Carron Valley is on a distinguished road
Default Carron Valley - another season ends

Today brings the end of another season at Carron and I would like to take this opportunity and use this forum to thank everyone who has fished here this season.

We have had a fantastic response to the new stocking policy and the quality of the fish and it's fair to say the feedback we've recieved from anglers this year has all been very positive.

I'm delighted to say that Carron has fished exceptionally well all season and from what I've learned this season and our future stocking policy, next season promises to be even better.

Next year we'll be open from Sat 15th March through to Friday 31st October.

I hope you all have an enjoyable time over the winter and look forward to seeing you again next year.

Many thanks again,

Fraser

It's been a good season mate. Will be champing at the bit come March. Need to get a few Rosies ready.

Been thinking about trying Carron Dam next year. How are the numbers of brownies holding up in the catch returns? - it would be a real novelty to have a good chance of wild browns in amongst the rainbows.
