Default Farmoor

How is Farmoor fishing at the moment? Week off next week - looking for venue....

Runners at the moment are:-

Farmoor (not seen a report recently)
Bushyleaze (fishing ok from what I here)
Watermark (fishing is hard - fish are quite deep apparently)
Bransford (not seen a report recently)

Any other suggestions within an hour of Cheltenham welcome....

Cheers,

Jon

Taliking to Our Kid, he had 5 yesterday from the boat, 1 to a sub surface Daddy, 1 to a Green and Black Booby right on the surface, the other 3 came to an Orange blob at various depths between 1 and 10 ft, in short the fish are there but are in patches, and the depth is varying!! he fished from 0830 through till 1500, his boat partner had 3, it was his first visit though, and they both lost a couple. The 5 went for 10lb and 5 oz, biggest being just shy of 2 and a half. They drifted most of the day, and tried all the various points around Farmoor, except to go across the middle and search deep.
Hope this helps.

Smile

Ended up at Bransford (decided on a lazy day )

Got my bag of 4 rainbows , 1 brown (which are returned at Bransford)

It then went a bit mad in the C&R pool - I ended up with another 6 fish including my first double header. Fortunately the two fish on were small and I managed to get them both landed (which was tricky to say the least).

All in all a good day and as usual the Shata Rainbows fought like fish twice their size....

Could say it was all a bit easy but that fisherman for you....we are either complaining it is too hard when we are not catching or too easy when we are!!!

May try Farmoor or Watermark in a few weeks time for my next trip.

Tight Lines

Jon
