Lovely looking trout, Jim. Good tails and shape. Was it lures that did the business ?

Unhappy Hi...

Hi Jim,
A couple of nice fish there, I would like to make an observation though, please do not take it as a criticism, that is not how it is meant. Given that there are beginners to fly / boat fishing and junior anglers who subscribe to this forum, is it a good idea to show pictures of a guy standing up in a boat who seems to be not wearing a buoyancy aid of some kind ? (unless I just can`t see it). I noticed that you, an angler of obvious experience do not appear to be wearing one either, if so, can I ask why that is ?
All the best and I hope you don`t fall in, cause I like reading your posts,
Andy.

for me no excuses ,the sun had come out and i had taken my outer jacket off, which of course had my lifejacket outside it. as for the other guy,it was his choice, no argument from me,,he knows the risks involved.

A couple of nice fish Jim.

The angler with the big one is Andy Godsell who fishes for Fife Police.

I was out on the lake on the first day that the bay was opened. I only got one fish at 3.5lb from the bay but there were some good fish caught.

The fish were still coming to the dries at the shallows around Sam's Point. It's a shame that the season is almost finished.
