Default Central area Scotland?

I will be going home(Alexandria,Loch Lomond ) for a few days at the weekend and i was wondering if anyone could recommend a fishery within easy reach from there that is fishing well at the moment and offer me a good days sport
Also what methods are catching there at the moment would be helpful
Thank you.

Default Carron Valley

Or you might consider Carron Valley Reservoir, where, until the end of the month, you can fish from the bank for rainbow trout like the one below, caught the other day on a size 10 red palmer fished on a floating line.

Might just do that Jim.
I have never fished it although it was my one of my fathers favourite places to fish.
