toxic evo is on a distinguished road
Default south causey lakes (stanley Co Durham )

well after dropping the misses off at metrocentre i sneeked of to causey for a few hours
after speaking to joe i set up wind was 10-50 mph with a nice ripple on the water with fish boiling every where .
so on went the cdc shuttles again and i moved down the right hand side about 3 pegs any way 4 casts about 10 yards and 4 hits But no hookups (Oh bother i though) then joe reminded me not to strike just lift the rod Gently OK same again 4 casts 4 hits no hook ups (oh dear i said ) checked the point fly no hook end checked the dropper the same Flipping heck I said
so reset with a little known fly called the beamish killer (well i was there) instant success nice 2+blue to the net "MMMmmm" i thought these things do work. so out it went again with the same result but dropped the ****** at the net .
by this time the wind really picked up gusting around 45+ so i continued plodding on with fine results 8 dropped and 4 to the net in total .(not counting the one on the cdc )
i finaly packed up when the wind blew me over on to my ar#e and in to the reeds at the side of the lake .
just in time to pick the misses up at 4 nice one .
TC
