Default Toft Newton

Anyone know how Toft is fishing at the moment ? I will be fishing there over this weekend, and have not fished it since the new owner took over.

Its fishing very well , would suggest a boat is better than bank. the fish are on the black pipe bank right round to the far corner drifts into the bank are the best tactic , however there is not much wind forecast.Good sport on daddies and CDC, equally good on nymphs or blobs but not too deep. let us know how you get on please.

Also can you still dap with naturals...I believe this was allowed some years ago when Toft was owned by Anglian Water.

Went on Saturday...overcast zero wind but quite warm...fished from the float tube and caught 4 in 4 hrs 2 to a pheasant tail and 2 to a parachute dry...plenty of fish showing on top. Lots of Algae on the surface on the downwind areas but the north and north/west banks are OK in the slight wind at the moment.( Apparently you can still dap with naturals )
