Hi Spade,
12 of us fished there on sunday(River Erewash Foundation) and almost everyone caught fish, there were several novices so it was a successful day.
The cold wind persisted through the day which put the fish off a bit and kept them down.
I caught steadily in the morning along the tower bank until the wind got up, then I found fish at millfields in the afternoon and had a good couple of hours there.
Floating line with hot head damsel nymphs, buzzers and DBs.
WARNING: These fish fight like demons.
