I live only a few miles away from Easter Balado and can't think how there could possibly be a fishery there.

There is a pond (couple of acres perhaps) where we used to shoot ducks.

If there is a fish pool, it can't be much bigger than the stewponds at Heatheryford and suchlike.

Fished it many years ago when Richard Philp ran it as a specimen pond.
From memory about the size of all the heatheryford ponds combined. Its only a few hundred yards from heatheryford but access is via the farm so by road it is over a mile, from m90 you drive past the heatheryford entry to easter balado farm road and then drive past the farmhouse turning left at the farmhouse.
Think it is still open, phone number was 01577 862371 and may still be.
Think the burn that runs past heatheryford and in to leven runs through E Balado which is why it has leven brownies it it.
Pleasant enough small fishery, limited facilities but fishing was ok and water quality good, think it is actually spring fed from a spring not far away from the actual fishery.

Just had a look at online maps (virtual earth and ordnance survey), zoom in on heatheryford and e balado shows up just above it. Some of the kinross/fife folk on the forum will have up to date info on it.
