Great Day;
Escaped from the NewHaylie on Friday for some fishing on Tweeddale arrived at 7.45am weather was calm /sunny by 8.00am the fog was down with poor visibility Had my first cast on peg 5 and missed one second cast I returned a 7lb bow A couple of casts later I returned a 3lb bow. Working my way up the water I dropped a few. At the top of the castle pond I was lucky to hook up with quite a few good size fish and dropped a double at my feet. returned 6 fish that pulled like trains. Brian Quinn returned six also with fish between 3 and 6lb, Brian Colwill returned 6 too with his biggest around 6 or 7lbs,Andy Richmond returned 12 all of a good size with one into double figures. A great day met up with some of the Geordie boys that fish Chatton that supported our memorial day and big thanks to Scott who looked after us.
