mugsy53 is on a distinguished road
Default Farmoor 8.9.07

Arrived 2.30 pm. Went round to the west bank about half way up where fish moved all afternoon and evening.

Had been told that the fish were very high in the water so fished a washing line set-up. Had one fish show some interest in the Cat's Booby on the point but that was all. Switched to a couple of dries - a Daddy and a Claret Hopper. Took a small fish on the former. Later another better fish took a 12s Red Shuttlecock. Then, suspecting the fish might have gone a bit deeper, tried nymphs and caught a third fish on a 12s Yellow Sedge Pupa.

Not an easy session. Would have expected more action with so many fish feeding at the surface. Suspect green water may have something to do with it.
