decided to go up tonight wae trootnaboot lovely water stocked mainly with browns and a few bows having never caught a brown from the water when we arrived fish moving evrywere confidence was sky high fished from 7-15pm till 9pm and yes youve guessed it i caught a lovely rainbow within half hour 1 or 2 more pulls but no brown of course willie landed a bow and a brown well done pal he turned a few too flies doin the damage were snatchers in various colours and a bit of advice please remember if you wear zip waders please remember to pull your zip up as i got a wee soaking

Funnily enough, I'd been thinking of taking a wander up there this weekend...a few years since I've fished it. Seem to remember the brownies were hard to get but well worth it once you did. Sounds like it's still pretty much the same then?

great wee water yes there hard to get for me but other guys get them my problem is i fish too often for bows but i have seen guys getting 20 plus and for £10 a day is super value great wee water
