Not been this year yet but do fish it reasonably regular later on, recently i believe the fish have been spread well over the water but i always prefer to head straight to the top of the dog leg, where upper frandy runs into lower. From the mouth of the burn, a drift down the leg should be good, Id be looking to fish hoppers, black or claret(dark), but if that dont draw any, the usual lures for the time should do well. The shoreline from the jetty to the dam wall is productive, as is the dam wall itself. The opposite shore also worth a look. As i said i usually go when i hear the surface sport is right in, but that could be now, the fish tend to look up there. Small muddlers, sedgehogs, all worth a crack. Ken the man in charge will keep you right with colours an that if its lures, but we never have that much sucess wi lures of frandy(but others certainly do), hes a fine chap.
Tight lines
Scotty

Default Frandy

Blobs and sparklers, mini lures with black and green tight to the shore from the narrow neck down to the dam wall on the jetty side always holds fish this time off the year. The dam wall all along will hold fish. My club has always fished this time of the year and it has been this way for 4/5 years and i,ve no reason to think it will be the same this year. The key is tight to the shore.

bright sunshine ,,not a cloud in the sky and sunburn was the result of my day at frandy although i did manage one fish from the boat on a red arsed kate mclaren ,,fishing was very hard ,but a few did manage one or two more , but all in all a slow day at frandy fishery.

It was a good day at Frandy - Crystal clear water - Bright sun all day - 10 for the boat, mainly on damsels on a fast glass - Then slow glass PM as the fish moved up in the water - Ultra slow fig 8 - All caught on North Shore to Dam Wall
