Default Glen of rothes trout fishery

fishing has continued to be first class this week with fish of 4 lbs up being caught by most visiting anglers.Nick fallon had one of 12lb 8oz and Jim eddie a one of 12lb 6ozs and also broke his 9ft rod on an even bigger fish.Ian Forty had a surprise with an 18lb 8oz mirror carp on the fly which gave him a good scrap. One angler missed out on £100 for a tagged fish having not emtered and returned it kindly to the water. Most of the fish are high in the water and drys are doing well along with buzzers.Wind direction is a major influence on where the main area of fish will be holding up.Prospects look good for the coming week if weather carrys on the way it is and with alot of good fulltailed fish in the water dont be shy with leader strength.
