Heading down for the Scierra at the end of the week - anyone willing to share how it's been fishing? Hows the water clarity? Any info at all really....

Went yesterday and fished 'till 6pm for 2 fish although I did lose a couple. Fish in OHB and will take buzzers as deep as 15 feet deep. I took 1 on a double sparkler on an inter and 1 on a cruncher fished washing line style. A couple of other boats were catching a few on an indicator and buzzers. When we tried Gibbetts alot of fish were moving but no takes. Word at the lodge was there were fish in the first of the boils in the basin.

Default Rutland foreign owned

I visited the shop there last week and I was told by a member of staff that Anglian Water, including Rutland Water is now owned by a Canadian Insurance company!!

Default Rutland

All I know Bill is that it is the site of the first breeding ospreys in England for 150 years and is also the home of the British Bird Watching Fair each August.

Apart from that my mind has gone blank.

See you in the pub tomorrow night boys!

Mike

Aw ****! Mine's a pint of heavy Jim, thanks! Tell ya the flees on sunday - nice one mate! Looking forward to it - I can always learn from the experts. When you look round in the boat, I'll be the one in the stern of the boat closest to you!

See ya there....

Bill
