Went to Farmoor today, got a tidler on a minky and a good take on an orange booby.

Also managed to hook myself in the leg, never done it before, surprisingly pain-free on the way in - a lot more painful on the way out (had to snip the shank off the fly and push the barb back through the skin).

Chap next to me landed a nice fish ~8lbs, judging by the tail it looked freshly stocked - still a nice fish though.

What is the water level like at farmoor atm?

Not sure how high it normally is as this time of year, would guess there was about 6/7ft between the bottom of the wall and the water.

Fished last fri about 3ft down.

Fishing its Bobbies off at the moment from a boat.Bank anglers found it harder.
