Talking

they have a web site but it is not up to date, look at rutland gillies http://www.rutlandgillies.co.uk/reports/elinor.html for info. Been there a few times it's a good fishery boats are pretty old and nasty but the fishing is usually very good.

I hope you have a sat nav not easy to find

Elinor is fishing very well for the time of year. You can fish both boat or bank. Weed cutting has been carried out recently so the choice is yours.

Nymphs do well, especially various damsel patterns, as do dries. Fish will take blobs and boobies if that's your bag but it's much better to fish the naturals.

Some good size fish come out on a regular basis so you have the chance of a specimen.

Have a good day and let us know how you get on.

Had a great day yesterday
Fish were on the damsels and after getting countless nibbles with no take i moved over to a PTN and bang!!!!!!4 fish in succession
Great fighting fish all around the 2 1/2lb mark
Lost a couple but at least i had a good day would recommend it to anyone!
One sour point though was a rainbow, around the 15lb mark was lying dead at the side of the water
