Had a great afternoon at Chew yesterday - took afternoon boat out at 1pm, had limit + 12 returned, all the fish were in top condition without a mark on them and fought well. All came from Heron's bay on crunchers or CDC hoppers / floating line. Plenty of fish rising when the wind stopped, it was just a case of using the rises to locate the pods of fish and then picking them off from a couple of feet below.
I spoke to one of the rangers and a boat on Thursday had a return of 79 fish for the day.
The lads on the bank were catching regularly.

Get down there now.
