Been there once, not fished it. Bruce Sandison says:

- separated from Loch of the Lowes to the south by a narrow causeway
- trout average 8oz in St Mary's Loch, pike and perch too
- trout average 1lb in Loch of the Lowes but very difficult to catch
- boat and bank on St Mary's loch
- bank only on Loch of the Lowes
- on St Mary's try Cappercleuch Bay (73/244230) and where Megget Water flows in (73/242225)
- On Loch of Lowes fish roadside bank
- own outboard permitted up to 51hp
- fishing from 9am till 1 hr after sunset
- he recommends his usual traditional flies that he always does!
- bait fishing allowed after 1 May
- for permits and boats (t) 01750 42243

This info is from the 2009 edition of the book and even when new wasn't entirely accurate re other lochs - so definitely worth verifying the details, but hope that's a starter.

Hi Wildloch I've fished St Mary's for 40 years now, I can tell you the fishing is in decline in my opinion, although there are still fish to be had. You might have to cover plenty ground. Fishing mainly round the edges, with small black and silver flies it fishies best with a good blow, this is mainly down to the clear water. You might find the pike fishers a pain but most are ok.
