Smile Farmoor Week ending 12th August

Not a bad week, thanks to everyone who has commented. The rod ave is still jumping about but overall it was 2.5 for the week. We have had several 4lb +'s coming out and all sizes giving a good strong fight. There have been a couple of good eve rises despite the weather. The Dawl Bach continues to do well and the end of the week saw a lot of fish coming to a stick fly with red tag. All fished about 18" under the surface. The 'Dry Fly Only' anglers have also seen some good fish later on in the eve.

Good hunting

Cheers mate

Hi, Bob, - no decision on Moscrop yet - just back from my 5th (angling) trip south this year, so might have to dip out on the Moscrop. Will let you know.. (although from what I hear from everyone about the quality of the fish at Farmoor this year I might well be tempted!)

Regards,

Talking Dapping

Hi Bob

Thanks for asking, and YES! you can dap, you may also use real daddies attached to hooks. They will walk on the water and save you from having too.

Looking forward to your next visit. This week started off with a bang, yesterdays rod ave was 5.1

Cheers
