fishcrosswood is on a distinguished road
Default Crosswood opening weekend

Crosswood opened for the new season on Saturday March 19th and despite the chilly winds anglers took limit bags fishing lures on floaters right through to fast sinkers.

The top areas were the far side of the tower and over towards the peat bank casting in towards the margins.

The following day saw boats head over to the peat bank but the wind proved to strong for this area and the best of the catches were made from the lodge bank, again mostly on lures.

Seafield A/C (5.5 Boats) 28 fish for 58lb 6oz.

Result of the C&R Competition held on Sunday 20/03/11

1. E. Livingstone (who somehow managed to blank the previous day, opening day) 8 fish £100.

2= I. Bennett 7 fish.

2= W. Cram 7 fish.

3. P. Johnson 5 fish.

4. A. Moncur 4 fish.

5. R. Gordon 2 fish.
