Have a look at their own website or Capn Fishy's website for some reports.
Turns out they are now having to advertising weekend boats.
Weekend boats were unavailable when we decided to reduce our annual bookings from 8 dates to 2.
Never mind, Raith Lake, Rescobie and Piperdam all fished very well.

Default Butterstone

Our club fished Butterstone on Saturday.................we had a great day......it is seriously full of fish...........some would say to full of fish........It is the first time i have fished Butterstone drifting the open water, there was a huge rise of fish in the open water......and only 2 boats drifting, diawl bachs and suspender buzzers on a floating line...............great fun

the new lodge is looking great and we had a warm welcome from the new manager George.

while Butterstone is expensive compared to other waters , it is still one of our favourite club venues, great fishing in great surroundings

looking forward to our remaining 2 trips to Butterstone this season.

Gus

Butterstone can report that the rod average is 100 fish and it will still not get some of the custom it has lost back due to the price increases. Good luck to the new owner but my club will not be back, along with a few others that I know.

The quality was poor the last time I was on it, fish with very little in the way of tails, eggs spewing out of them.
