Default Cromlix.

Just spent a nice evening fishing Cromlix. 3 waters on offer and we took Keepers Loch. 4 hour ticket £12 (2 fish then C&R). Nice wee gin clear water with two islands in the middle. Had the place to ourselves (2 of us) but midges chased me back to the car around 2030 hours after bagging 2 rainbows, pound and a half each. Bought myself a midge hood at Stirling Angling centre this morning and can't wait to get back as my mate says the water was alive just as the sun was setting.

Anyone any tips for this water for me or is anyone considering a visit? Whats the latest on midge repellants? Still 'skin so soft' being recommended?

therealijn.
